Origin of Six Rivers Lodge #106

During a Stated Meeting in May 2000, the masters of Humboldt Lodge #79, Semper Virens Lodge #552 and Arcata Lodge #106 each read a proclamation authorizing him to appoint a committee to study the possible consolidation of the three Lodges. After many meetings, much study and the completion of the nessesary paperwork, the consolidation of Semper Virens Lodge and Arcata Lodge was approved by Most Worshipful Grand Master David C. Decker on November 18th, 2000 effective December 1st of the same year.

The site for Six Rivers Lodge #106 is the former Arcata Masonic Temple Building at 251 Bayside Road, Arcata. Looking from the west side of the Lodge is a beautiful view of Arcata Bay, the distant city of Eureka and across Humboldt Bay, the Samoa Peninsula.

The first Stated Meeting of Six Rivers Lodge #106 was held on Tuesday, December 5th, 2000.
